Ho Chi Minh City will have a cashless market

Ho Chi Minh City will have 2 cashless markets to be held in June at the Hi-Tech Park and Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone. This is an activity in the series of events in response to the June 16 Cashless Day.

In June, credit institutions, payment intermediaries, ecommerce levelretail businesses… will have many incentives for customers Cashless shopping.

Within the framework of the press conference, Vietnam National Payment Joint Stock Company signed a memorandum of understanding on financial support solutions for small and medium business owners through domestic credit cards. Card products will meet the spending needs of business.

The series of events of Cashless Day continued to actively contribute to realizing the Government’s goals in the projects of Improving access to banking services for the economy; the project of promoting payment through banks for public services; National comprehensive financial strategy to 2025, orientation to 2030; and the project of developing non-cash payments for the period of 2021-2025.

The important goal of the program is to respond to the Government’s policy of national digital transformation, starting with changes in the payment sector.
