The enthusiastic cheering of a large audience at the Hai Duong Provincial Gymnasium on the evening of May 20 helped the host country’s representative have a favorable start with an 11-7 victory in the opening set.
Overcoming the victory, Duc Tuan continued to make Pharpoom constantly fall into the position of chasing to close the second set with a score of 11-9.
Duc Tuan’s little haste made him unable to maintain his excitement in the third set, while the Thai player lit up hope with an 11-8 victory.
