In 2017, at the peak of her career, Nguyen Thi Huyen suddenly got into a flower car and decided to quit the competition to give birth. However, she is very lucky to have an extremely psychological husband who always fully supports her passion: “I also follow sports, so I understand that in order to achieve good results, I must focus 100% on training. I also understand that returning to practice after giving birth is very difficult. The couple often confided and shared. I advise the great-grand wife. Try to practice and I will take care of everything“, Quynh said. Previously, Huyen’s husband was a high jumper.

The 10th SEA Games gold medal became even more meaningful to Nguyen Thi Huyen when on May 19, she turned 30 years old. When asked if he wanted his wife to take a break from playing to take care of his family, Quynh said: “I always support my wife, but I continue to pursue my passion. My daughter has two grandmothers and grandmothers to support and take care of her, but she mostly stays with me.” He also gave compliments to his wife: “When Huyen comes home, she takes good care of her family. In general, my wife is good at domestic chores.”
