Second, it’s a matter of safety. According to historical records, during the construction process, the workers poured into the tomb of Qin Shi Huang a lot of mercury, forming a particularly lively ‘deadly’ river.
After conducting a survey of the surroundings of the tomb, experts found that there was indeed a large amount of mercury. Therefore, conducting excavations deep inside the tomb of Qin Shi Huang is a very dangerous thing. It is estimated that the amount of mercury in the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang is up to 100 tons. This is a deadly underground trap. Therefore, the excavation is too dangerous.
The third is the issue of geography and feng shui. Right from ancient times, people often invested a lot in choosing a location to build a mausoleum. The prime location in feng shui is to have mountains and rivers surrounded. When building the tomb of Qin Shi Huang, choosing the location alone exhausted the efforts of many master experts at that time.
