The British automaker does not announce the official name of this paint as usual, but says that the paint color is inspired by pearl shells.
The reason being inspired by the pearl shell is because the owner of this Boat Tail is a giant with a passion for pearls, and the family has a long history in the field of pearl crafting. Exterior colors are mixed between pearl shell color and soft pink to make the paint base. The hood has a bold cognac color, including copper and gold tones mixed together. In the wood paneling area on the trunk lid, walnut wood with rose gold stripes resembles the grille.
Inside, the color scheme is also inspired by pearl shells combined with cognac color, many details of walnut wood paneling and dotted with rose gold. To create a more personal impression, the car owner even brought his own mother-of-pearl wood to cover the dashboard area and around the interior.
One of the points that make up the class of Rolls-Royce Boat Tail is the Hosting Suite – a picnic storage area located behind the passenger compartment. These wooden storage compartment screens can open up in a very unique butterfly shape. Inside contains sets of plates, knives, … designed specifically for this model. And of course, the car is still equipped with sun umbrella details like the first one.
