The number of fever cases in North Korea surpasses the 2 million mark

KCNA reported: “Even in the state of maximum emergency prevention and control of the epidemic, normal production activities are maintained for key industries, and large-scale construction projects are still being promoted. good results are reported regularly in the ongoing fight against the epidemic”.
The United Nations human rights agency has warned of the “devastating” consequences of the COVID-19 epidemic for 25 million North Koreans. Meanwhile, World Health Organization officials fear the uncontrolled spread of COVID-19 could lead to the emergence of new, more dangerous variants in the country.
