New feature of YouTube make it easy for users locate and watch the most replayed parts of video. They can also identify “especially useful” for long videos or those that have not been broken down into different sections using timestamps or video chapters.

“YouTube users can now see this subtle gray histogram as they go through a video using a red playback progress bar. If the histogram is high, that part of the video has been played back frequently.
