Currently, people are entitled to a 50% discount on the fee for making CCCD chips according to Circular 112/2020 of the Ministry of Finance. This is a circular stipulating the reduction of certain amounts to support and remove difficulties for production and business, ensure social security to cope with the COVID-19 epidemic, which will be implemented from January 1, 2022 to ends June 30, 2022.
However, from July 1, the fee collection will apply according to Circular 59/2019 of the Ministry of Finance, then the fees for CCCD will no longer be reduced by 50% as at present.
Thus, from July 1, people doing CCCD have to pay double the current fee. Specifically:
– Change from 9-digit ID card, 12-digit ID card to CCCD card: 15,000 VND/CCCD card. From July 1, it is 30,000 VND/CCCD card.
– Change CCCD card when damaged and cannot be used; change information about surname, middle name, first name; identity characteristics; re-determination of gender, hometown; there is an error in the information on the card; when citizens request: 25,000 VND/CCCD card. From 1-7 is 50,000 VND/CCCD card.
– Re-issuance of CCCD card when losing CCCD card, regain Vietnamese nationality according to the provisions of the Law on Vietnamese nationality: VND 35,000/CCCD card. From 1-7 is 70,000 VND/CCCD card.
