At the show Knock on the door to visit the house This week, Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu shared with the audience about his current life. She said:

“Receiving a role that comes from love and love of art, I now want nothing more than to be devoted to my passion and help the next generation of juniors.

However, at this age, the fact that I ride a motorbike to perform on my own has also become a pain for my children and grandchildren because I have an accident almost every year. Many times when I was sick, I did not express it, for fear of disturbing my children and grandchildren.

Once, I was in an accident while driving to a show, was run over by a car, but remained silent, went home to change, went to the hospital for a bandage.

Only when the doctor forced me to stay in the hospital for 21 days did I inform my children and grandchildren. My son even had to hide his motorbike, not letting me go on stage alone. But that still didn’t stop my determination.

I think the kids are worrying too much. There’s nothing to worry about, I know my state of health. I’m still awake, I also like the freedom.

When I feel that I can’t do it myself, I ask others, children, and neighbors too.

I often tell my children, “If we were your age, we would think the same way”.

Life and death have a number, while I’m alive, I can do anything for society, for the youth and the path I have chosen, I have no regrets, no fear of anything.

Listening to the confided words of artist Phi Dieu, director Quoc Thuan admired and exclaimed:This is a woman who represents the brave and resilient army girls.”

Next, Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu shared about her husband, musician Phan Nhan: “My husband was my first love. At that time, I was 22 years old and met him and got married.

We have spent 63 years together with many emotions, associated with the ups and downs of society and determined not to leave each other. My husband has been dead for 7 years now but I will always miss him.

The only thing that makes me regret until now is that that night, when I saw that his condition was getting worse, I told him to try to wait until morning so I could run over to tell my sister-in-law.

I had just walked to the door of that brother’s house when my son at home called to tell me that he had passed away. I couldn’t hold back my tears, I just drove home and blamed myself: “You’re playing weird, I told you to wait for me for a bit, but why not?”.

Even so, until now I am still satisfied with my current life, my children are reunited, my family is happy and there are many good things left so that when I close my eyes, I will not regret anything.”
