The audience remembers Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu with the image of a working mother, a gentle grandmother in plays, dramas, movies or MVs. Wholeheartedly for her acting career, the “national grandmother” once surprised the audience by driving a motorbike to perform alone at the age of U90, not caring about the sands, even performing for free for students.

Accepting a role that comes from love and love of art, Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu wants nothing more than to dedicate himself to his passion and help the next generation of juniors. When the doctor forced her to stay in the hospital for 21 days, she informed her children and grandchildren. Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu expressed: “There’s nothing to worry about, I know my health condition. I’m still sober, I also like the freedom. When I feel like I can’t do it myself, I ask others, my children, my neighbors too. If we were to be your mother’s age, we would think the same. Life and death have a number, while I’m alive, what can I do for society, for the youth and for the path I’ve chosen, I have no regrets, no what’s scare of thing”.

With their first love starting at the age of 22, Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu and musician Phan Nhan have spent 63 years of their lives together with a range of emotions, associated with the ups and downs of society. Her husband has been dead for 7 years, but when recalling, Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu is still filled with fluttering emotions.

“The only thing that I regret until now is that that night I saw that his condition was getting worse, I told him to wait until morning so I could run over to tell my brother-in-law. As soon as I got to his door, I My son at home called to tell me that my father had passed away. My tears couldn’t be contained, as I drove home and blamed ‘You’re playing weird, I told you to wait for me for a bit, but that’s okay?'” – she confided.

However, Meritorious Artist Phi Dieu also expressed satisfaction with her current life, family reunion, happy family and many other good things so that when she closes her eyes, she will not regret anything.
