Nightmare road with 600 challenging turns, silk steering wheel must also be scared

Known as the “Pamir Plateau Sky road” or the “Panlong Ancient Road,” this winding road through the Kunlun Mountains in Xinjiang, China is awe-inspiring.

The bends here when viewed from above look like a giant dragon slithering through the Kashgar region. This place officially opened in September 2019, creating favorable conditions for people in the region to move through the Con Lon mountain range.

However, with a special location, this place has become an attractive place for those who are passionate about driving and want to prove their driving skills. With 600 turns, this road is definitely not for the faint of heart or motion sickness.

At the highest position, Pamir Plateau Sky Road has an altitude of 4,269m above sea level. It was originally 36 km long but was later extended to 75 km.

The winding road here is especially difficult to navigate when it rains or snows. Even so, even in dry conditions, it is prudent to drive on this road.

This road is not considered the most dangerous place for motorists, but it is a haunting place for people with motion sickness. 600 twisty turns will knock out any car sick person walking on this road.
