Thien An Company (a contractor in charge of construction of Thu Thiem Bridge 2) determined that 44 of 108 garbage covers on this bridge were stolen.

Two days later, Thai continued to go to Thu Thiem 2 bridge to steal a large amount of garbage covers and sell them to collectors on Nguyen Huu Canh Street, Binh Thanh District, for 400,000 VND.

The amount of evidence of the theft has not yet been recovered by the police. According to the assessment of the authorities, 32 garbage covers were stolen with a value of about 11 million VND.
