Russian cruise missiles hit Western weapons depot in Ukraine

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, this batch of weapons was destroyed by the Kalibr cruise missile launched from the sea.

“These are weapons that are shipped from the US and Western countries. They will be delivered by the military Ukraine used in the Eastern Donbass, where fighting is still continuing,” the statement said.

According to the agency, Russian missiles hit fuel storage facilities near Odessa on the Black Sea coast. Two Ukrainian Su-25s and 14 drones were shot down.

Previously, Russia has repeatedly warned that the West’s “pumping” of weapons to Ukraine is prolonging the conflict in this country. The Russian military claims that all means of transport and storage of Western weapons in Ukraine will be considered legitimate targets.

On the same day, the Governor of the Kursk Region (Russia) Roman Starovoit said that the Tetkino residential area (Glushkovsky district) was hit by fire.

“Tetkino and nearby residential areas have come under Ukrainian fire again,” Mr. Starovoit said, adding that the attack caused no casualties or damage to infrastructure.

Previously, in mid-April, the Tetkino area was also shelled by Russia, which Russia accused was carried out by Ukrainian forces. One person was killed and another was injured. Several buildings and production facilities were damaged.
