Even dealers have to regretfully stop accepting deposits for certain models because they don’t know when they will have a car to return customers, some orders have been delayed to 2023.

Toyota Raize

Toyota Raize is one of the models that have been in short supply since its launch in Vietnam at the end of 2021. Only customers who have made a deposit to buy Raize before the launch time can receive the car, the rest have to wait. until June 2022. Currently, this situation has become more serious, some agents have even informed customers to stop accepting deposits until the end of 2022.

In addition to being in short supply, this model is also being sold by dealers “with peanuts.” Customers who want to buy a car soon are forced to spend an additional 20-25 million VND to buy the dealer’s accessory package. Although this model is subject to a recall due to the risk of undercarriage, the hotness of this model has not cooled down.

Kia Sonet

Speaking of Toyota Raize, it is impossible not to mention Kia Sonet because these are rival pairs. Kia Sonet and Toyota Raize are two “new factor” models – small urban high-rise cars aimed at first-time car buyers. Both cars are equipped with many modern technologies, such as LED lights, large entertainment screens and many safety features.

Having an imported origin, Toyota Raize is more likely to fall into a shortage situation than Kia Sonet, which is assembled by the manufacturer in the country. However, Kia Sonet is not “inferior” in keeping customers waiting for a long time. Currently, customers who have registered for a car deposit are informed by dealers that they have to wait for another 2 to 3 months to be able to hand over.

Recently, the price of Kia Sonet car has suddenly increased to 5 million VND compared to the launch date, the highest is up to 614 million VND. Specifically, all 3 versions of Kia Sonet Deluxe, Luxury and Premium have increased by 5 million VND, the new prices are 544 million VND, 584 million VND and 614 million VND respectively. Particularly, the standard version of Deluxe MT remains at the same price of 499 million VND.

Hyundai Creta

Another rare high-rise urban car is the Hyundai Creta 2022. This model was launched in Vietnam in mid-March with 3 versions priced at VND 620-730 million. This price is said to be quite competitive compared to other models in the same small crossover segment in Vietnam today.

Since the time of launch, Creta 2022 has been in a state of rare and there are no goods, some agents have to switch to selling imports and the price difference is quite high.

Specifically, according to a survey at some dealers in Hanoi, the actual selling price for the standard Hyundai Creta version is 15 million VND higher, the special version is 20 million VND higher and the premium version is 30 million VND higher. million dong.
