The 8th grade girl drowned when she fell into a deep hole

On May 22, the leader of Ky Trinh ward (Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province) confirmed that a female student unfortunately drowned when she and a group of 8th grade students invited each other to Da Mai slot to take pictures.

The incident happened at about 4pm on May 21, in the area of ​​Da Mai slot (belonging to Dong Trinh residential group, Ky Trinh ward).

Accordingly, on the afternoon of May 21, a group of about 6 students in grade 8, Ky Thinh Secondary School (Ky Thinh ward) went to Da Mai slot area in Ky Trinh ward to take pictures.

At this time, two children NTHT and VTH (both 14 years old, living in Ky Thinh ward) unfortunately slipped, fell into a deep water hole, sinking gradually.

Immediately after discovering the incident, the students accompanying him called out for help, but when he was brought ashore, T. died. The remaining victims were rescued and are being treated at medical facilities in the area.

According to the leader of Ky Trinh ward, Da Mai slot area has slippery cliffs and deep water holes in the stream, so it is very dangerous.

Currently, the victim’s body has been handed over to the family for burial according to local custom.
