Unveiling the chilling suicide plan in India

Radio NDTV On May 22, the New Delhi police said they had just discovered a shocking suicide.

A suicide note found in an apartment in the Vasant Vihar neighborhood has revealed the chilling plan of the mother and daughter mentioned above.

According to police, all the doors, windows and exhaust fans were sealed with what looked like foil, which appeared to keep smoke out of the apartment and no one could see inside.

The cooking gas cylinder knob was turned on and a coal fire was still burning. The burning of coals and the lack of ventilation led to the accumulation of toxic carbon monoxide in the room, killing 3 people.

When police entered the apartment, they found three bodies in the bedroom and a coal fire burning next to it.

In the suicide note, there is a paragraph warning anyone entering the apartment not to turn on a lighter because it could cause a fire.

“Lots of deadly gas – carbon monoxide – inside. It’s flammable. Please ventilate the room by opening windows and fans. Do not burn matches, candles or anything. Be careful when removing the blinds because very dangerous. Do not inhale” – a passage in the letter read.

Police have opened an investigation to find out the cause.
