How much does the U23 Vietnam team receive for the 31st SEA Games championship?
At My Dinh Stadium last night, U23 Vietnam defeated U23 Thailand with a score of 1-0 in the final of the 31st SEA Games men’s football, thanks to the only goal of striker Nham Manh Dung in the 83rd minute.
This victory not only delighted the fans of the country, but also helped U23 Vietnam go down in history as the first team to successfully defend this title.
After Vietnam U23 was crowned, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) decided to reward Park Hang-seo teachers and students with an amount of 2 billion VND. Along with that, the team also received VND 100 million – a bonus for the winning team from the 31st SEA Games Organizing Committee.
When U23 Vietnam overcame Malaysia U23 in the semi-finals with a score of 1-0, VFF also awarded the team 1 billion VND. In addition, a strong sponsor also rewarded the team 300 million VND.
Thus, up to this point, the total prize money received by U23 Vietnam after the 31st SEA Games gold medal is 3.4 billion VND. And certainly this number will not stop here.
