“I just watched the 31st SEA Games and shed tears because of the great pride”

Before becoming one of the most prominent actresses on VTV through movies such as Quynh Doll, Judge, Living with her mother-in-law, Thanh Huong used to be a pencak silat athlete at the Training Center. Hai Duong sport.

The days of practice are always etched in her memory, once again lit up when the 31st SEA Games are held in Vietnam. Thanh Huong had a conversation with PV Vietnamese peoplewhile her voice was still choked with emotion.

“Every day, after hours of filming, I go back to turn on the TV and watch the sports again at the 31st SEA Games, almost without missing any subjects. Every night, my tears also fall because of pride, because of emotion. I also spent a long time as a young athlete, living in the great moments of winning.

Because of that, when I see athletes (please call me teammates) win medals at the expense of blood, tears, and silent sacrifices that can’t be put into words, I can’t help myself. emotional outbursts.

Years at Hai Duong Sports Training Center, pursuing martial arts taekwondo and pencak silat. Those days are still with me, with so many memories and nostalgia. More than anyone else, I understand that the time spent practicing hard on the ring contains a lot of sweat and pressure. Nearly any athlete has asked the question: “Should I give up?”; “Why is sport so harsh, strenuous and exhausting?”. Also because I have experienced those emotions, I admire and admire their victory even more.

Not everyone can follow a sports career. Those must be extraordinary people, bravery, will and different people.

It is still said that there is no victory more glorious than victory over oneself, only when one conquers oneself can one win absolutely. Witnessing the moments of competition at this year’s 31st SEA Games, I didn’t just watch the athletes win the team, but watch them win themselves. There are final moments, when they thought they had collapsed, but suddenly they stood strong. That wonderful thing can only be explained by the will, by the strength of the national spirit.

That’s the gold medal of the Vietnamese women’s football team, it’s the gold medal of female track and field athletes. They all fought fiercely to bring glory to the nation. It is even the sacrifice of the athletes themselves for the victory of their teammates, because the victory of their teammates is the glory of the whole country.

I tear up when I witness the moment of athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh reaching the finish line, the minute of the coronation of the women’s football team, and the moment of efforts of the athletes who lost but still burned with all their might. Although they did not make it to the Finals, they still shined with determination and energy.

There is also one more thing I really want to say here, that is nowhere else the national pride is as great and great as in Vietnam. The athletes were great, but the fans were just as great.

I witnessed tears falling on My Dinh field, tears in Viet Tri, tears on the street, I also joined that crowd to cheer for the Vietnamese team. As a child of the country of Vietnam, these days probably cannot help but recover. The 31st SEA Games have brought historic moments for ourselves, and we have every right to be proud of that.

Last night, the victory of the U23 Vietnam team in the football final at the 31st SEA Games created the most beautiful and perfect ending. One night Hanoi was covered with red flags, the Vietnamese language echoed everywhere, all of which will remain in my memory forever.
