Nayeon, Tzuyu, Momo (TWICE) have Covid

On May 21, the management company JYP Entertainment announced 3 members of TWICE Nayeon, Tzuyu, and Momo contracted Covid-19 when they returned to Korea after promoting abroad. Prior to that, all three had done a PCR test before departure and came back negative in the US.

According to JYP, Nayeon, Tzuyu and Momo have all had three vaccinations. Currently, the members’ health is stable, Nayeon feels tired, while Momo and Tzuyu both have a cough. All three are currently undergoing isolation and treatment according to government health guidelines.

The company reassures fans and ensures that the artist’s health is the top priority, giving the best support to the members for a speedy recovery.

This information makes many fans worried when member Nayeon is preparing for a solo debut with the mini-album “Im Nayeon” on June 24. The album’s title has a dual meaning. It’s not only the TWICE member’s full name, but also the confident declaration that “I’m Nayeon”.

As expected, this album will bring the style and color of the female idol’s own, instead of the image like when she shows in her TWICE group.

Nayeon’s solo announcement came after JYP Entertainment announced TWICE’s schedule of activities in the US. According to the schedule, after the group finishes promoting in the US, Nayeon will start with activities as a solo artist.
