Will Thailand U23 have a “different ending” when reuniting with U23 Vietnam in the Asian tournament?

Last night (May 22), after Thailand U23 lost to Vietnam U23 and only won a silver medal, coach Mano Polking did not hide his disappointment. He even seemed to want to cry when he shared with reporters present at My Dinh Stadium, then gave many compliments to U23 Vietnam.

Coach Polking wrote on his social media account: “I’m proud of all the players. In the final my players played well. They tried to do their best in a great tournament. Everyone gave their best. Mirrors Present in this squad are quality players with a bright future ahead of them.

We don’t have time to be sad because next week you will have to fly to Uzbekistan and meet U23 Vietnam again (at the AFC U23 Championship finals) so I am sure you will give the correct answer. It would be a completely different story than it is today.

Congratulations to Coach Park Hang-seo and U23 Vietnam. You guys deserved the gold medal at the 31st SEA Games. I hope to see you again, but for now, my task is to focus all my energy on the Asian Cup (in the national team).”
