Vinhomes Joint Stock Company recently announced to pay the 2021 dividend in cash at the rate of 20%, according to the plan approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders.

Accordingly, Vinhomes shareholders will receive a dividend of 2,000 VND/share, the payment time will be on June 22, 2022.

With 4.354 billion shares outstanding, the amount that Vinhomes will spend to pay this dividend is 8,708 billion dong. In the shareholder structure of Vinhomes, Vingroup is the largest shareholder, owning 2.9 billion shares, a rate of 66.66%. Thus, in June, Vingroup will receive 5,800 billion VND.

Besides, two other foreign shareholders of Vinhomes are Government of Singapore and Viking Asia Holdings II Pte. Ltd will receive VND 500 billion and VND 483 billion respectively while owning 250 million shares and 242 million Vinhomes shares.

As of March 31, 2022, Vinhomes has VND 5,628 billion in cash and cash equivalents (which are savings deposits from 1-3 months, interest rate 3-6.3%/year), and 2,621 billion VND. short-term financial investments (which are bank deposits with term of 3-12 months, interest rate of 3-6.5%/year).

In 2022, Vinhomes sets a revenue target of VND 75,000 billion and profit after tax of VND 30,000 billion. Notably, at the last Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, Vinhomes announced a plan to develop social housing projects for low-income people in provinces across the country.

Within the next 5 years, Vinhomes aims to complete 500,000 social housing houses across the country. The expected selling price of social housing is only from 300 million VND to 950 million VND/unit, with a selling price and selling plan in accordance with the State’s regulations for social housing products.

The representative of Vinhomes added that the scale of each social housing project will be about 50-60ha, located in the periphery of major cities and provinces such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Da Nang.. .. nationwide.
