Visiting the tourist attraction dubbed “the scariest in the world”, many people are surprised to know that the statues here are all fitted with real human teeth.
During his artistic life, Finnish artist and sculptor Veijo Rönkkönen has created a total of 450 statues of all sorts of bizarre poses and expressions.
After his death in 2010, all of these anthropomorphic statues are now located in the garden of the house where Rönkkönen previously lived with his parents.

What makes these statues the scariest to the traveler that they are even fitted with real human teeth. Some other statues have eyes with strange effects that make viewers shudder.
Each statue is made from concrete and placed in different yoga poses – another hobby of the late artist.
Up to 25,000 visitors come to the garden named Parikkala Sculpture Park to sightseeing each year. It’s free to all, but anyone can contribute to the conservation of the facility.
On the famous travel review site TripAdvisor, many visitors have left many comments about this Parikkala Sculpture Park in Finland.
One person wrote: “This place has enough power to take you to nightmares. Real human teeth, cold glass eyes and semi-nude statues in every pose you can hardly imagine.”
Another visitor left a review that: “These statues when standing alone are full of ghosts. But when gathered in a place like this, the destructive power is even more terrible.”
Most visitors who have come here rate Parikkala Sculpture Park as extremely scary but a very worthwhile place to visit in Finland.
