Dong Nai spends 2,600 billion VND to build Bien Hoa – Vung Tau expressway
This content was approved by delegates at the meeting of the Provincial People’s Council on May 24. The amount corresponding to 50% of the value of compensation and ground clearance shall be carried out on the expressway through the area. The province also commits to additional capital if the project increases investment capital.
Before that, Ba Ria – Vung Tau agreed to pay 670 billion VND out of a total of 1,333 billion VND for site clearance for the 19.5 km section of Bien Hoa – Vung Tau expressway through this province.
Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway is nearly 54 km long, approved by the Prime Minister to invest with the state budget, in phase 1, making 4-6 lanes, with a total investment of 17,837 billion VND. The project is expected to start construction early next year and be completed in 2025.

The route is divided into three component projects by the Ministry of Transport. In which, projects 1 and 2 are 34.2 km long, built in Dong Nai, with a total cost of 12,647 billion VND. The rest is implemented in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, with a total investment of 5,190 billion VND.
Expressway when completed helps reduce load for national highway 51, increasing connectivity to the Southern Key Economic Zone.
