The Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) has just licensed a treatment drug Covid-19 domestically produced is Molnupiravir Stella 200 mg.

The drug has the content of Molnupiravir 200 mg, hard capsule form, shelf life of 6 months, box of 4 blisters x 10 tablets. The registration number is phone number: VD3-174-22 of Stellapharm Joint Venture Company Limited – branch 1 (Stellapharm JV Co., Ltd. – Branch 1) production and registration. The drug is valid for 3 years from the date of signing the decision

Thus, up to now, there have been 4 drugs containing the active ingredient Molnupiravir for the treatment of Covid-19 manufactured in Vietnam, which have been licensed for circulation.

Vietnam has granted circulation registration for 4 drugs to treat Covid-19

The Drug Administration of Vietnam requires manufacturing establishments and establishments registering drugs to manufacture according to dossiers and documents registered with the Ministry of Health; coordinate with treatment facilities to strictly comply with current regulations on prescription drugs, monitor the safety, effectiveness, and unwanted effects of drugs on Vietnamese people, and synthesize and report according to regulations.

At the same time, it is suggested that the Department of Health of the provinces and cities notify the medical examination and treatment facilities, medical staff, and drug supply establishments in the locality to inform patients of the benefits and risks of using the drug. drugs, treatments, other drugs that can replace Molnupiravir in the treatment of Covid-19.

The Drug Administration also requires units to strengthen monitoring, supervision and detection of cases of adverse drug reactions (if any), send reports to the National Center for Drug Information and follow Adverse drug reaction monitoring (Hanoi) or Regional Center for drug information and adverse drug reaction monitoring (HCMC).

Previously, on February 17, the Drug Administration of Vietnam licensed three drugs to treat Covid-19 domestically produced, including: Molravir 400: Molnupiravir 400 mg content, hard capsule form, by Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. Boston Vietnam production; Movinavir: content of 200 mg Molnupiravir, in hard capsule form, manufactured by Mekophar Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and Molnuporavir Stella 400: content of 400 mg Molnupiravir, in hard capsule form by Stellapharm Joint Venture Company Limited – branch 1 manufacturing.
