Previously, the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Education and Training announced the results of the examination of the examination of the examination of the National Excellent Student Selection Exam for the school year 2021-2022 at the Examination Council of Ho Chi Minh City.

According to this notice, some teams of the participating units have the number of candidates exceeding the number specified at Point a, Clause 1, Article 16 of the National Competition Regulation for selecting excellent students.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training does not arrange the number of registration numbers in the order of the candidates’ names in the list of candidates for each exam subject to the regulations.

This department arranges candidates of each team to take part in the English and Informatics exams of each contestant unit in a separate examination room, which is not in accordance with the provisions of point b, clause 2, article 25 of the Regulation on student selection exam. national level.

The fact that the examination board opens the exam bag for 2 subjects in English and Informatics at the Council Room at 7:30 am, 25 minutes before the time allowed to open and distribute questions to candidates is a violation of the provisions of Article 2 of this Decree. In addition, the Quality Control Department issued a written consent for the examination units to increase the number of candidates for each exam subject for many consecutive years, which is not correct in terms of authority and content as prescribed in Point a, Clause 1 of this Article. 1, Article 16 Regulations on the national exam for excellent students.

The Ministry of Education and Training proposes that the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City direct the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City to review and clarify responsibilities related to limitations and shortcomings, and at the same time handle according to its competence to officials under its management. according to the law.

The Ministry also requested the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training to review and clarify the responsibilities of the Department’s leaders (if any) in establishing a number of competition teams with an excess number of candidates, the ranking of the list of candidates. and the layout of the exam room of the English and Informatics teams is not in accordance with regulations.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training reviews and handles the responsibilities of organizations and individuals (if any) under the Department’s management in advising on the establishment of competition teams with the number of candidates exceeding the regulations, advising on arranging registration numbers and arranging exam rooms for English and Informatics teams that do not comply with regulations.
