On the evening of May 23, in a quick exchange with PV Newspaper Lao Dong, Mr. Do Cong Hanh, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phuc Thuan Commune, said that heavy rains and floods in the commune caused a child to go missing.
Specifically, at about 10:30 am on May 23, the authorities received news that T.Đ.T (SN 2019, living in hamlet 6, Phuc Thuan commune) was swept away by floods.
T.’s house is near a stream with high water due to floods. T. went to play near this stream and went missing, his family suspected he was drowning.
Mr. Hanh added that up to this point in Phuc Thuan commune, the rain was very heavy and the stream water was flowing fast, so the functional forces had not found T.
Currently, the authorities are urgently and actively searching for the victim.
