With 205 gold medals, 125 silvers and 116 bronzes, Vietnam ranked first in the entire team on the 31st SEA Games medal table. Not only that, but Vietnam also far surpassed Indonesia’s record set at the 1997 SEA Games Jakarta, with 194 gold medals.

SEA Games 31 ended with the first place of the whole team belonging to Vietnam. The host country’s sports delegation won a total of 205 gold medals, 125 silver medals and 116 bronze medals, thereby ranking No.
