German Chancellor Angela Merkel had an accident while stepping on the podium to speak at a business event in Berlin.

When stepping on stage to speak, Mrs. Merkel seemed to lose her footing, lose balance and fall to the floor.

The German chancellor quickly stood up, saying she didn’t notice the stairs leading up to the stage and lost her balance when trying to step up. “I don’t see the stairs. Next time I’ll take the right step,” joked Merkel.
