Auction of ‘golden land’, Dong Nai takes tens of thousands of billions in traffic planning

The People’s Committee of Dong Nai province has just issued a plan to auction land use rights in 2022 and subsequent years in districts and cities under the province. The land to be auctioned is located in a prime location, with high value with an estimated amount of up to tens of thousands of billion VND.

Accordingly, there will be 105 “golden land” areas with a total area of ​​​​nearly 782 hectares that will be completed the application procedures for auction with an expected starting price of more than 12.9 trillion VND. Among the auctioned land areas, there are 40 areas of great value assigned by the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to organize the auction; 65 land plots with a starting price of less than VND 20 billion/area will be auctioned by the District and City Land Development Centers.

In 2022 and the following years, Dong Nai plans to put up for auction many “golden land” areas to increase revenue for the budget, create investment funds for construction of technical infrastructure.

After the auction, the proceeds will be invested in local traffic works by this province, creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development.

Specifically, the proceeds from the auction will be used to invest in construction of Dong Nai riverside road (length of 5.2 km, total investment capital of nearly 1,300 billion VND), Cai riverside road (length of more than 4 ,5km with a total investment of more than 574 billion dong), Bien Hoa city center road (investment cost is 1,500 billion dong), Dong Nai riverside landscape improvement project from the headquarters of the provincial People’s Committee to Rach Cat bridge (capital of the Dong Nai riverside). invested nearly 4,000 billion VND) and other projects such as Ring Road 1, inter-port roads, provincial roads, etc.

According to the leader of the People’s Committee of Dong Nai province, due to the need for huge capital to invest in connecting routes between localities in the province and in the southern key economic region, while the state budget is allocated to the province. not enough to invest in traffic projects, so the province needs to exploit more capital from this auction.

This auction, according to the province’s assessment, is very positive, because currently many large domestic and foreign enterprises are wanting to own large, high-value land funds of Dong Nai to implement projects on the area. urban areas, industrial parks, tourist resorts.
