Discovered 830 million-year-old microorganisms have the ability to “revive”

A new study has discovered ancient microorganisms trapped about 830 million years ago in salt crystals in Central Australia. Because it was detected by light microscopy to ensure that the substances contained in the crystal were not disturbed, life within this material is still not completely known.

However, because many previous studies have stated the feasibility of reviving microorganisms found in salt crystals, scientists can completely hope to regain life for organisms. This new-found ancient era is in the future.

It is known that the results of this study can be used to serve the purpose of searching for life on Mars because the conditions on this planet are quite similar to the conditions for crystal formation mentioned above.
