Hanoi detected 316 people with COVID-19, the highest in the country

Patients are distributed in 112 communes, wards and towns in 25/30 districts, towns. Some districts and districts recorded many patients during the day such as: Nam Tu Liem (39), Hoang Mai (37), Long Bien (27), Ha Dong (24).

Thus, over the past 1 year (from April 29, 2021), Hanoi recorded a total of nearly 1.6 million COVID-19 cases, including 1,336 deaths.

Also according to the report of Hanoi Department of Health, up to now, there are 82,360 cases being treated and monitored in the city; in which 95 cases were treated at the hospital (an increase of 1 case compared to the previous day) and 82,265 cases were monitored at home.

Regarding vaccination against COVID-19, by the end of May 24, the city’s health sector had injected more than 18.4 million doses, of which the first dose reached 98.9%; nose 2 reached 96.4%; additional shots reached 100%; Repeated injections reached 95.6%.

As for vaccination for children, from the afternoon of April 16 to now, the city has given the 1st dose to 170,770 children from 5 to under 12 years old. In addition, currently the rate of 1st injection for children aged 12-17 has reached 100% and the 2nd dose is 99.9%.
