Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 kicks off the national costume contest

Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 is expected to be held from September 5 to September 25, once a year and closely follow the format of Miss Grand International.

Sticking to the format of Miss Grand International, Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 is expected to have many attractive contests such as national costumes and awards for the best national costume design, and an award for evening gown design. the most beautiful festival…, even the name-calling part, which is considered a “specialty” of Miss Grand, is also being considered for inclusion on contest nights.

In particular, the national costume is one of the contests that are very interested and loved by beauty fans. Through each year, the audience has witnessed many spectacular and unique works that are invested with great care.

Recently, BTC Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 has officially announced the national costume contest. Accordingly, contestants will be free to create meaningful, splendid costumes with bold national identity to introduce to domestic and foreign audiences.

It is known that all contestants participating in the competition night must prepare their own national costumes. In terms of ideas and designs, contestants can make their own or collaborate with designers. Following the success after “Huyen Dang Hoi” of runner-up Kieu Loan at Miss Grand 2019 in Venezuela, “Golden Jade Leaf” of runner-up Ngoc Thao at Miss Grand 2020 and especially “Blue Angel” by Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien at Miss Grand 2021…, the organizers of Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 decided to organize this round on a large and monumental scale. This promises to be the convergence of cultural quintessence from ethnic groups and regions across Vietnam.

Costumes must be inspired by the national cultural identity of Vietnam, in accordance with fine customs and traditions. Make sure the design is self-created and doesn’t copy other people’s ideas. Contestants can prepare new outfits or use national costume samples announced by the designer in previous collections.

The contestant who wins the first prize in this contest will receive a reward of VND 30 million and be given a special chance to advance directly to the Top 10 finalists. At the same time, the designer of the costume that won the first prize will receive a medal and honor in the final night.
