Before that, at about 5:00 p.m. on May 24, 2022, Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital received a 22-year-old male patient who was admitted to the hospital in a state of consciousness, pale skin, pale mucous membranes. there is a wound on the right chest about 3cm long from being stabbed with sharp objects, right pleural effusion, hemorrhagic shock, fast, small pulse, difficult to catch, unstable pulse, low blood pressure…

The prognosis is that this is a case with complicated wounds and a high risk of death, so the doctors and nurses were quick open the sternum to access the lesion, treatment of right ventricular perforation wound, ligation of the mammary artery in hemostasis and suture of right lung parenchyma. Due to the complicated arterial wound and large heart damage, the patient lost a lot of blood. During the operation, the doctors had to transfuse 5 units of blood to the patient.

After about 2 hours of emergency surgery, the patient was able to stop bleeding from the wound, hemodynamically stable, his health progressed quite well, and the vital signs were within normal limits.
