Shooting at an American school, 21 people were killed

According to Reuters news agency, Texas Governor Greg Abbott said the suspect, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, died at the scene, believed to have been knocked down by responders.

“He shot and killed 18 students and killed three adults, including a teacher, in a horrific and incomprehensible manner,” Mr Abbott told a news conference.

According to Abbott, Ramos shot his grandmother before opening fire on Robb Elementary School. Two police officers were shot but were not in danger.
