100% of trucks through Tan Thanh and Huu Nghi declare online

According to the Management Board of the Dong Dang – Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone, from February 21 (the time when the pilot implementation of the digital border gate platform began at Huu Nghi international border gate and the border gate of Vietnam). Tan Thanh) to May 18, all imported and exported goods vehicles made an online declaration on the Digital Border Gate Platform before entering the border gate and processed on the Digital Border Gate Platform with a total more than 29,000 vehicles carrying import and export goods through 2 border gates.

This declaration helps to reduce the time, effort and workload of the management agencies and forces at the border gate, while helping businesses reduce travel time and incurred costs, especially, contributing to Reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection.

However, because the technical infrastructure in the border gate area is not synchronized, there are still some problems that arise, requiring more coordination of specialized agencies and forces working at the border gate.

Up to now, after being remedied and upgraded by the relevant units, the Digital Gate Platform has run stably. Most of the businesses have already made a good declaration on the online information system.

Currently, businesses only take 2 – 5 minutes to complete the declaration of information about import and export goods.
