According to Circular No. 10/2021 of the Ministry of Health, Sibutramine belongs to the list of substances banned from use in the production and trading of health foods.

This is a substance with many toxicity and side effects, the risk of cardiovascular complications, especially stroke and myocardial infarction. The US and European countries have stopped using all products containing Sibutramine since October 2010.
The information on the labels of these products says “Products of Matxi Corp Co., Ltd., address: 22 Vo Van Kiet Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City”. Place of production: Branch of Medino International Co., Ltd., address in Long Binh Industrial Park (Amata), Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province.
The Food Safety Department has coordinated with the Institute of Public Health of Ho Chi Minh City, the Food Safety Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City, and the Food Safety and Hygiene Branch of Dong Nai province to check at these two addresses.
The inspection showed that the product as reflected by the Institute of Public Health of Ho Chi Minh City has the same label as that of the product Max health to go coffee of Matxi Corp Co., Ltd. self-proclaimed, Branch of National Co., Ltd. economy MEDINO production.
At the time of inspection, Matxi Corp Co., Ltd., branch of MEDINO International Co., Ltd. committed that the batch of Max health to go coffee coffee products had a production date of January 10, 2022 and an expiration date of January 10// 2024 is the last batch of products that Medino Branch has produced for Matxi Corp up to the present time (May 16, 2022).
In case this product is found circulating on the market, people will notify the relevant authorities for handling in accordance with the law.
