First phone with 200MP camera to launch in July?

Although Motorola has not announced details about the name and configuration of the product, however, leaked information shows that it is likely that this smartphone will be called Motorola Frontier. The device can be equipped with Isocell HP1 image sensor with 200 MP resolution that Samsung has launched since September last year.

Samsung’s Isocell HP1 image sensor has a resolution of 200 MP with a pixel size of 0.64 μm – the smallest on the market today. Smaller pixel sizes will allow manufacturers to create smaller camera modules or add more pixels to existing designs, helping to increase the resolution of smartphone cameras.

In low light conditions, this camera sensor uses pixel binning technology, which allows 4 or 16 pixels to be stitched together into one larger pixel. This makes the Isocell HP1 a 50 MP sensor with 1.28 μm pixel size or a 12.5 MP sensor and 2.56 μm pixel size, thereby enhancing light absorption to capture images Photos are clearer and sharper in low light conditions.

In terms of video recording capabilities, Samsung’s 200 MP sensor can record videos with 8K resolution at 30 frames per second.

In addition to the main camera with a resolution of 200 MP, Motorola’s new smartphone can also be equipped with a 50 MP super wide-angle camera and a 12 MP telephoto camera. Meanwhile, the front of the device is capable of integrating a camera with a resolution of 60 MP.

According to some leaked sources, Motorola Frontier may own a 6.67-inch screen, using pOLED technology with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.
