Follow Sammobile, Samsung will follow the way Apple produces A series chips for iPhone. The company has established a team of good experts in the field with the goal of designing chips for high-end devices such as the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series in the near future. The first version is expected to be released in 2025.
One of the people invited by Samsung to join the project used to play an important role in the development of chips on Apple devices. This person has full control and selection of the team of engineers in the process of making chips for Samsung.
Samsung is also said to be suspending the high-end Exynos project, at least for the next two years. Meaning, Galaxy S23 and S24 will use Snapdragon chip in all markets. Galaxy S22, launched earlier this year, is being equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon in the US, Canada, Vietnam … markets, while the European distribution integrates the Exynos chip. Samsung started using both lines of chips in 2015 when the Snapdragon 810 had problems with overheating.
Meanwhile, the Samsung representative replied Sammobile that “no concrete decision has yet been made”.
