Real Madrid is not afraid of Liverpool in the Champions League final

Federico Valverde is one of the most important players in the tactical system that coach Carlo Ancelotti built, helping Real Madrid reach the Champions League final (2h on May 29).

In a conversation with AS, Valverde praised rivals Liverpool with beautiful football.

“Liverpool has always stood out for its high speed, the ability to speed up the game. A style of play that I enjoy”Valverde shared.

“Hopefully this will be the final that everyone talks about Valverde. Liverpool is a great team, a reference and admirable model for the whole world today.

When asked who is Liverpool’s most feared player, the 23-year-old midfielder said: “Everybody is ominous, I think if I say one name it means a lack of respect for the other players.

Liverpool have a great squad and they work all over the pitch. The members on the bench are also in very high form, when they play, they always make big changes in the matches. They are really cool.”.

However, Valverde said Real Madrid not bored with Liverpool and the Spanish Royal team have a separate position.

“They are a strong team, but we also have special qualities to stand in our own place.”.

The Uruguayan said the Champions League final was very special. He and his teammates will fight to the best of their ability for the title of European champion.

“Nothing compares to the Champions League final. It’s unique.

Liverpool have the best for Saturday’s game and we have to be very focused, disciplined, cohesive and give our best as a team. Even when we’re tired, we have to fight and fight.”.
