Earlier yesterday, Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, reflected at the National Assembly about a batch of 1.1 million masks made by businesses in Germany and overseas Vietnamese in Vietnam. According to the written response, the General Department of Customs said that at the time the two shipments returned to Vietnam, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front did not have two documents, including the decision to receive aid from the competent authority. authority (Ministry of Health) and a declaration of aid certified by a financial agency.

“Currently, the declaration of aid has been actively canceled by the Ministry of Finance to match the anti-epidemic situation (according to Circular 23). But at the present time, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nam still does not have an import permit from the Ministry of Health,” said the General Department of Customs.

According to the General Department of Customs, after receiving feedback from the National Assembly deputies about the above matter, the General Department of Customs has directed the Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat airport border gate Customs Sub-Departments to contact the Central Committee on the matter. At the Customs Branch at Noi Bai airport, the Central Committee of the Fatherland Front made an appointment at 12:00 noon this afternoon to carry out procedures for importing masks.
