The agent explained that this phenomenon occurs due to the oxidation of the parts with the surface exposed to the environment by the climate with high humidity in Vietnam. To solve this situation, Saigon Ford will “clean the surfaces with additives” in just four working hours. In particular, the dealer representative assures that this phenomenon will not affect the operation and service life of the parts, but only the “aesthetic” factor.
Saigon Ford issued a written report of the vehicle’s fault, explaining this phenomenon and offering a solution even though there had not been any in-depth testing.
However, Mr. H. was very upset with this solution and said: “This is a document stating the solution is too sketchy and flawed. I cannot accept those reasons because the company has not yet had a solution. Because he was so dissatisfied with Saigon Ford’s response, Mr. NNH decided to continue to send a petition to Ford Vietnam Company and Branch of Saigon Auto Service Joint Stock Company (Saigon Ford) to there is a better solution.
In addition to Mr. NNH’s case, another user who owns a Ford Ranger XLT Limited named NK, residing in Lam Dong province has also reported to Tien Phong about the same error. According to Mr. K., this car was bought new by him at the Ford Suoi Tien dealer located at 35 Hoang Huu Nam, Tan Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City for 835 million VND.
