Vo Kim Ban is 1m86 tall, born in 2000, born in Soc Trang. Since childhood, the player has had a special passion for orange balls. The young player was invited to Ho Chi Minh City to train with this club for 2 months in the summer. A year later, Vo Kim Ban officially accepted an invitation from Saigon Heat to join the SSA youth training center (Saigon Sport Academy).

In 2018, Vo Kim Ban participated in VBA – Vietnam Professional Basketball Tournament and was awarded the title of Best Young Player. At that time, the player was only 18 years old. Along with Saigon Heat, Ban’s career is increasingly sublimated when he and the club won the VBA Cup for 2 consecutive seasons, 2019 and 2020.

With such brilliance, Vo Kim Ban became a notable name in the national basketball team. In 2019, this 19-year-old man participated in the SEA Games for the first time and became the youngest player in the squad. That year, Vietnamese basketball won the first medal at the 30th SEA Games – bronze medal in 5×5 content.

This year, Vo Kim Ban also appeared in the Vietnamese basketball team. However, the player, who was not on the 3×3 list, was then filled in at the last minute, replacing Khoa Tran. At the end of the content, the Vietnamese basketball team won the first silver medal in history.
