On a boat, visitors can see thousands of glowing fireflies that appear every time someone enters the cave. These lights contrast with the cave’s unique shape.

2. White Sands National Park, New Mexico, USA

This national park is located in New Mexico, USA, and its weather patterns help preserve the vast gypsum sand fields. The park is about 275 square miles long and has wave-like sand dunes that are home to plants and animals that have adapted to this environment.

This eye-catching landscape is located in Hunan province, China. With more than 26,000 hectares of territory, this landscape is known for its 3,000 columns and narrow sandstone peaks, some more than 200 meters high. This one-of-a-kind venue in Germany looks like it came straight out of a children’s book. This bridge is also known as the “Devil’s Bridge” and it was built during the Middle Ages purely by the people who lived near the bridge. And because it was so hard to build, it became a legend on its own.

This landscape looks as if it was hand-painted by some artist years ago, but it is actually created by nature itself. The formation of these caves dates back 6,000 years and it is always changing. The curious shapes formed by the raging waves have formed these marble-like structures, which is why they are named.

7. Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia

Salar de Uyuni, located in Bolivia, is the largest salt flat in the world, covering over 4,050 square miles of Altiplano. The sprawling, expansive salt flats are filled to the horizon with polygonal patterns protruding from the ground. At certain times of the year, the lakes located near the Salar River overflow and cover it with a layer of water that creates a mirror-like illusion, making it the perfect backdrop for a photo session.

8. Chocolate Hills, Bohol, Philippines

Bohol Island possesses on its territory the unique geological formations in the world, with more than 1,268 conical hills spreading about 50 square kilometers. Their height varies from 30 to 120 meters. The hills are covered with grass, and they have a “chocolate” tone during the dry season, and the hay turns into giant chocolate balls.

9. Darvaza Crater, Turkmenistan

This unique place is known locally as “Hell’s Gate” and it is located in the Karakum desert of Turkmenistan. According to reports, the crater is about 230 feet wide and 65 feet deep. This gas-fueled crater has been burning for decades.

Every November, around 50 million red crabs migrate to the island and transform this landscape into an unusual sightseeing experience. Migration takes place so the crabs can reproduce and then release their eggs into the sea.
