To ensure allotment and disbursement of the assigned 2022 plan, the Department of Planning and Investment (MOT) requests investors and project management units to develop detailed implementation plans for all projects. new start-up project.

For new construction projects, which are expected to use the capital plan in 2022 but have not yet completed the procedures for approving investment projects, the units shall base themselves on the progress of completing procedures and the results of the review. needs to use capital in 2022 to propose harmonization and adjustment from the assigned annual plan to other projects of the unit.

According to the registered plan by the investors/project management board, in June 2022, the Ministry of Transport has to disburse about 3,950 billion VND; accumulated until the end of June 2022, disbursed VND 19,030 billion, reaching about 37.9% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister and 44% of the plan assigned by the Minister of Transport.

Regarding the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period, the Ministry of Transport plans to invest in 66 new construction projects.

Up to now, 48/66 projects have been approved by competent authorities on investment policies, including: 1 national important project (investment project on construction of North-South East-East expressway in the period of 2021 – 2025. ), 2/9 projects of group A (Rach Mieu 2 bridge and Cao Huu – An Lanh expressway) and 45/53 projects of groups B and C.

Among the projects that have been decided on investment policies, 14 projects have been approved, including: Rach Mieu bridge project; Project to upgrade national highway sections: National Highway 32 Phu Tho, National Highway 12 Quang Binh, National Highway 7 Nghe An, National Highway 2 Tuyen Quang, National Highway 31 Bac Giang; National Highway 1 and Tam Ky Bridge; National Highway 1 through Binh Dinh, National Highway 26 Khanh Hoa.

Along with that are the projects: investment in bypassing Cao Bang city, the project of building a new offshore search and rescue ship; Satellite station Cospas Sarsat; Invest in 2 ships for inspection at sea and the project of upgrading Nha Trang – Saigon railway.
