Meritorious Artist Doctor Tien replaces Meritorious Artist Chi Trung as Director of the Youth Theater

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just awarded the decision to appoint Meritorious Artist Dr. Tien as Director of the Youth Theater on behalf of Meritorious Artist. Chi Trung to retirement age. Before that, Meritorious Artist Dr. Tien was the Deputy Director of the Youth Theater.

Meritorious Artist Dr. Dr said, starting to take on the job from June 1, but for him, nothing has changed. Because he has worked at the Youth Theater for more than 30 years, everything is dear to him, the artist brothers understand each other and work quietly.

Sharing with VietNamNet, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung said that although he retired according to the regime, he was still invited to act as an advisor for the Theater. He will still accompany in all activities of the Theater.

Meritorious Artist Si Tien (real name: Nguyen Si Tien) was born in 1968 in Hanoi, graduated in Theater Directing, Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema. During more than 30 years working at the theater, the artist participated in many plays such as: The Incarnation, The Doll’s House, The Fox and the Grapes, They’re All My Children, Distortion, The Last Lie, The 9th Vow… Meritorious Artist Si Tien won two gold medals, one silver medal at festivals.

The artist also tried her hand at directing a series of works such as: Mom, I’m going to grow up, Grandpa is trapped, Hunter is trapped, Blue bird… In 2018, the book Blue chrysanthemum on the swamp (screenplay Luu Quang Vu) directed by Si Tien won a gold medal at the National Drama Festival.
