Painter Nguyen Thong tells ‘Thong’s story’

Painter Nguyen Thong shared that taking the image of a pine tree as the cross-cutting theme of more than 40 works he composed over the past 3 years was not a spontaneous thought but was cherished for a long time.

“The pine tree is known as a symbol of strength, inner strength and steadfastness. Living in a cold, snow-covered environment all year round, the pine tree still survives and remains green. The tree has the meaning of steadfast spirit, firmness and bravery. That’s why, through the image of a pine tree, I want to send my little message about human perspective, about life.

Painter Truong Trong Quyen said, after display Thong’s story will also continue to organize individual and group exhibitions of contemporary artists in various schools and themes. Along with that, there are in-depth sharing workshops on the visual arts, on topics bearing the breath of the times. This is also an open space for the art-loving public to have the opportunity to experience and discover the hidden beauty in each displayed work.
