There were 40/64 households voluntarily dismantling houses built illegally on agricultural land before “G” time.

Out of 64 illegally built houses on agricultural land managed by Viet Thang Coffee One Member Company Limited (Dak Lak), 40 have been voluntarily dismantled by the owner before the enforcement deadline.
This morning (May 27), discussed with PV Infonet, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh – Director of Viet Thang Coffee Company said: ”Today is the first day of enforcement of 64 illegally built houses on the land of the management unit. According to the plan, today there will be 5 houses forcibly. However, out of these 5 houses, 4 people have voluntarily completely dismantled them, the other 1 has been partially dismantled.

According to Ms. Hanh, as of this morning (May 27), there have been 40/64 cases of voluntarily dismantling and 24 houses have been dismantled, some of these houses have been built permanently.
“During the process of households complying with the decision on enforcement and voluntarily dismantling illegal construction works, some households still came to obstruct; However, local authorities have mobilized and propagated to people, so no serious problems have occurred,” Hanh added.
According to the plan of the People’s Committee of Cu Kuin District, starting from this morning (May 27), the functional forces will conduct enforcement of the above 64 houses according to regulations. The enforcement is expected to end on May 31.
Before that, like Infonet It has been reported that Viet Thang Coffee Company (belonging to Vietnam Coffee Group) is leased more than 962.5 hectares of land by the People’s Committee of Dak Lak Province in Buon Ma Thuot City and Cu Kuin District.
However, taking advantage of the contract and the loose management of Viet Thang Coffee Company, 64 illegal houses were “sprung up”, intending to “prepare” the urban construction planning. Trung Hoa town belongs to hamlet 3 and hamlet 8, Ea Tieu commune.
Notably, many of these houses are cadres and party members. After a decision on enforcement was made, these people voluntarily dismantled them.
