Pay fines at the place of permanent residence, no need to return to the place of violation

According to Clause 2, Article 4, Circular 15/2022/TT-BCA, if the violator does not reside in the district-level area where the police discover the violation, the result of the fine will be transferred to the commune-level police. where the violator resides (if the violation falls under the sanctioning competence of the commune-level police chief) or to the district police station where the violator resides.

When violators come to solve the case, the head of the commune police station or the district-level police chief will make a record and issue a decision on sanctioning traffic violations according to regulations.

More time for car registration warning

Circular 15/2022/TT-BCA stipulates that the time limit for sending an automobile registration warning notice will be 20 days (calculated on a normal day, not a working day), an increase of 5 days compared to the previous one.

If after 20 days from the date the police office sends the notice of cold fine, the violator does not come to handle it, the vehicle will be included in the registration warning software of the Vietnam Register. After that, the vehicle will be refused registration.
