VinFast VF9 test run on European streets

VinFast VF9 electric car is camouflaged and tested on European streets.

VinFast VF9 has officially opened for sale globally. The Vietnamese automaker has announced the official selling price as well as the battery rental policy of this model in Vietnam, the US, Canada and the European market… While this large electric SUV has not yet been delivered. customers, its upgraded version was caught by the paparazzi during a test run.

This test version is quite interesting with the overall appearance still similar to the VF9 but this camouflage has some interesting differences. The current VF9 has a relatively simple headlight with a triangular design. Meanwhile, this camouflage version has the same split headlight design as the VF 8. The front bumper is smaller, similar to the VF8.

Behind the car, the current taillights of the VF 9 have been completely removed and replaced with a pair of small lights. The rear bumper has also been tweaked with the same details from the VF8 series. This can be confusing when VinFast chose to bring the design of the VF8 to a higher line than the VF9. However, the paparazzi believe that the Vietnamese automaker is simply testing the chassis, not upgrading the vehicle’s appearance.

These camouflage shots come just weeks after VinFast announced pricing details of the VF 8 and VF 9 in France, Germany and the Netherlands. Both electric SUV models use 82 kWh batteries or 87.7 kWh batteries. VinFast has announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with FCA Bank – a leading financial service provider in the automotive sector in Europe, to provide innovative and flexible financial support packages for VinFast electric vehicles.

According to the cooperation, the first rental packages for two electric car models Vinfast VF 8 and VF 9 will be deployed in 3 key markets: Germany, France, and the Netherlands, applied to the fixed battery subscription package. within the validity period of the VinFirst program. After the VinFirst program ends on May 30, VinFast and FCA will continue to develop and introduce other financial solutions to customers.
