Before that, on the morning of May 27, Ms. V. (37 years old, living in Binh Tan district) gave her child K. (1 year old) to a woman named T. (21 years old) to look after her as usual.
Where the incident happened
At 9:45 a.m. on the same day, T. called Ms. V. saying that she had a cough, vomited milk, and was pale. Ms. K. immediately ran home to take her child to the emergency room, but she died. Autopsy results showed that the baby suffered multiple abdominal injuries, suspected of being violent.
When the police took the testimony, T. said that in the morning of May 27, K. was vomiting and regurgitated milk, so T. used his hand to hit him several times in the abdomen. Seeing that he was pale, T. panicked and called his mother to return and then took him to the hospital, but he did not survive.
